Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in Harrisonville, MO. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our compounding and batching processes.

The Manufacturing Specialist will perform all facets of the mixing and blending process, ensuring the fill of production schedules and orders on a continual basis. This role involves working with various materials, including chemicals and raw goods, to meet customer specifications.

• Demonstrate safety ownership by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures at all times.
• Report near miss safety incidents and conditions each month.
• Prepare for and participate in shift transition meetings, submitting daily production reports.
• Maintain 5S standards in all assigned areas, keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Learn and complete autonomous maintenance activities on assigned equipment, actively submitting work requests.
• Obtain a working knowledge of and demonstrate all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) applicable to Compounding.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum three (3) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with compounding or batching experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Basic chemical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work under pressure for extended periods to produce results.

This position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
