Job Title: Photographer

At Hendrick Automotive Group, we are seeking a skilled Photographer to join our team. As a Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of vehicles for our dealership's website and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and assemble photography equipment according to subject material, anticipated conditions, and knowledge of function and limitations of various types of cameras, lenses, films, and accessories.
  • View subject and setting; plan composition, camera position, and camera angle to produce desired effect.
  • Estimate or measure light level or create artificial lighting with flash units, lights, and lighting equipment.
  • Make adjustments to camera, lens, or equipment to compensate for factors such as distorted perspective and parallax.
  • Stock in inventory and prepare vehicle for service prep.
  • Update Internet photos.
  • Photos need to be professionally edited, resized with text added and posted to the Company Internet.
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Prior photography experience desired.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
  • Ability to edit and resize photos on the dealership website.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Work Environment:

Duties are performed throughout the premises, both indoors and outdoors. Due to the nature of the position, employee may be exposed to various work environments and required to perform a variety of tasks.

Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions and frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to interact with customers and other departments.
