As a Certified Respiratory Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Therapy Department. Your expertise will ensure that our residents receive the exceptional level of care they expect at The Grove at The Lake. You will utilize scientific and clinical principles to identify, prevent, and manage both acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing existing patient data
  • Collecting additional data to assess respiratory status
  • Developing comprehensive respiratory care plans
  • Determining the appropriateness of prescribed therapies
  • Initiating and modifying therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
  • Documenting essential information in patient medical records
  • Communicating effectively with the healthcare team

Our residents rely on your knowledge, skills, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure their comfort and safety.


Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:

  • A minimum of an associate's degree from a CoARC-accredited institution
  • One of the following certifications: CRTT, CRT, RRT, CCT
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • An unencumbered State of Illinois Respiratory Therapist License
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist is preferred, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
