Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities and equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
  • Respond to and resolve guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Install and maintain new equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Order and maintain inventory of supplies and parts to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Keep maintenance records up to date to track work completed and identify areas for improvement.
  • Comply with all safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work safely and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good customer service skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
