We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Park City GI Clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. This will involve utilizing the nursing process, technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care with other healthcare team members.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as appropriate.
- Seek and evaluate information from other members of the interdisciplinary team, including patients, families, physicians, non-nursing disciplines, support staff, and others.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration as appropriate.
- Evaluate patient response to interventions, revising plans of care as needed.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. The ability to communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and manage time and resources is essential.
