Job Summary

Stantec is seeking a highly skilled Geologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our local remediation and compliance team on complex environmental investigation and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field investigations and remediation/abatement of soil, ground water, soil vapor, and hazardous building materials.
  • Develop and implement site health and safety plans and ensure work is completed safely.
  • Coordinate and assist with scheduling field investigations.
  • Prepare reports such as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, sampling and analysis reports, and regulatory submittals.
  • Travel locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally as required for proposal and project needs.
Requirements
  • Current Professional Geologist license or ability to immediately apply for licensure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience.
