Available Shifts:

  • 1st Shift: Monday to Thursday from 5:00am-3:30pm.
  • Compensation: $24.49/hr with an additional $1.00/hr for night shifts. Pay increases available at specified intervals.
Your Role:

We are seeking a motivated individual for the position of Pole Shaft Fabrication Specialist within our Global Utility Division. This role involves the assembly and fitting of pole shaft components to create complete units. Key responsibilities include:
  • Safely operating overhead cranes.
  • Assembling pole shafts according to established procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Performing basic fitting and adjustments as necessary.
  • Constructing large assemblies that require limited precision.
  • Ensuring timely completion of tasks to facilitate subsequent assembly operations.
  • Maintaining accountability for tools and equipment, ensuring proper upkeep.
  • Participating actively in safety initiatives and adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience operating overhead cranes.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in working independently to resolve issues with minimal guidance.
  • Capability to maintain acceptable production levels, quality, and attendance as evaluated by management.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Prior experience in an assembly role.
  • A strong commitment to safety practices.
