Job Summary

U.S. Silica is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for loading, hauling, and unloading ore and waste from the mine to the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate single or double belly dump and belt trailers to deliver ore from multiple mine sites to the production facility
  • Load and unload ore and waste using front-end loaders and other heavy equipment
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Communicate with supervisors and other team members through radio communication
  • Adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MSHA certification (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial driving environment (preferred)
  • Nevada Class A Driver's License
  • Endorsement for Double Trailers and Tankers (preferred)
  • DOT Physical and Medical Card
  • Prior heavy equipment operator experience (preferred)
  • Excellent driving record
