Job Summary

Penn State Harrisburg's School of Science, Engineering, and Technology invites applications for a part-time faculty opening in its Civil Engineering & Technology programs. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in one or more of the following areas: Civil Engineering (Structural, Environmental, Water Resources, Transportation, Construction), Statics, Mechanics of Materials, Surveying, and Graphic Communications.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering and Technology
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Advise students and provide academic support
  • Participate in departmental and university service
Requirements

The minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline and relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Ph.D. degree is preferred.
