Position Overview

We are in search of passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to join our dedicated team. This role involves providing essential speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels, including those with significant behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support virtual therapy services to ensure comprehensive care for all students.
  • Keep thorough and precise documentation of student progress and therapy plans.
  • Engage in team meetings to foster a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • For SLPs:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • For SLPAs:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience with or eagerness to learn about addressing severe behavioral needs.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various service delivery models (onsite, hybrid, virtual).
  • Proficiency in technology for virtual service delivery.
