About the Role

HCA Florida Heart and Lung, in partnership with HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, is seeking a talented cardiothoracic surgeon to join their established practice and growing service line in Kissimmee, FL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacements, as well as broad-based thoracic surgery.
  • Join a growing network of experienced cardiothoracic surgeons with locations from Gainesville, Tallahassee, Ocala, Orlando, Fort Walton Beach, and Pensacola.
  • Practice advanced cardiothoracic surgical programs, including TAVR, minimally invasive cardiac and robotic thoracic surgery, as well as aortic surgery and ECMO.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of cardiologists, anesthesiologists, surgical, RN, and Critical Care staff to produce the highest possible quality and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience and comfort level with aortic disease, valve repair and replacement, including open and endovascular aortic procedures.
  • Experience with TAVR.
  • Knowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the team and have a positive track record of team building.
