**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Cleveland Clinic. As a key member of our inpatient radiation oncology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide therapeutic and patient care services for patients receiving radiation therapy in an acute setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver radiation therapy to both adult and pediatric populations in an inpatient setting
  • Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to determine and deliver patient treatment plans
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting any adverse reactions or concerns
  • Assess and educate patients according to specific department protocols
  • Position patients and select anatomic/technical parameters accurately
  • Check and adjust necessary equipment, including linear accelerators

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
  • Board-certified Registered Radiation Therapist (R.T.(R)(T)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current state licensure if required by law in the state of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 based on relevant experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
