Sample Coordinator

Design Group Americas is a leading gift packaging company, producing a wide range of products for millions of customers worldwide. We transform paper and other materials into innovative products that help people celebrate life's special occasions.

• Assist in the operation of machinery, including Ragen, Cam, and Slitting machines, as needed.
• Manage and maintain inventory of sample materials, including online tracking and restocking.
• Procure and order supplies for various programs and shows, including expense reporting for company credit cards.
• Be willing to cross-train in all areas and learn about different products and their characteristics.
• Develop mock-ups of new products, including accurate packaging and labeling.
• Utilize Excel, Outlook, and Teams for remote meetings and communication with sales coordinators and Product Managers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Pick, inspect, pack, and ship sample goods as requested.
• Set up items in JDE and manage stock issues and dumps.
• Support product donations and charitable activities of Design Group Americas.
• Participate in Quality and Safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales coordinators and Product Managers to provide high-quality, on-time samples and mock-ups for meetings and customer requirements.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math, with a focus on measurements and dimensions.
• Adaptability to changes in the work schedule throughout the day.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both within the department and with remote associates.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Quality of work must meet department standards at all times.
• Willingness to work overtime, including last-minute requests.
• Proficiency in computer data entry and retrieval.
• Ability to work for extended periods on cement floors.
• Working knowledge of Excel, JDE, and Outlook, with a preference for Teams.
