Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at our Battle Creek, Mich., manufacturing plant. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial manufacturing equipment and systems, including HMI/PLC, servo motors, and electrical systems.

You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure the efficient operation of our plant and maintain a safe working environment. If you have a strong background in electrical maintenance and a passion for working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and replace industrial manufacturing equipment and systems, including HMI/PLC, servo motors, and electrical systems.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure the efficient operation of the plant and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and interpret complex electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
  • Calibrate and repair electrical-pneumatic control systems and maintain plant equipment electrical systems and facility electrical systems.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent state certification.
  • Successful completion of a Journeyman Electrical Apprenticeship or > 8000 hours documented in the Electrical field.
  • Must be able to pass relevant/required written, oral, or hands-on training, peer review, and the like.
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Electric Code and its appropriate application.
  • Have a strong understanding of Computer Systems operating on a window platform.
