Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a skilled On-Site Gas Services Coordinator to manage the safe and efficient inventory of gas cylinders and equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cylinder Management: Safely manage the inventory of gas cylinders, including ordering, receiving, and storing.
- Inventory Optimization: Analyze and optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Customer Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including facilities support personnel, clinical staff, and facilities administrators.
- Order Entry and Tracking: Accurately enter and track orders using JD Edwards, Accustar Handheld, and Cylinder Tracking systems.
- Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of all in-use and depleted cylinders, as well as equipment and related disposables.
- Sales Opportunity Identification: Identify and communicate sales opportunities to internal teams.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair issues related to medical devices, perform required device maintenance and calibration, and respond to after-hours on-call requests.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required, additional education or trade skills preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to customers and internal plant personnel.
- Computer Literacy: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in JD Edwards, Accustar Handheld, and Cylinder Tracking systems.
- Driving Record: Good driving record required, with the ability to safely move heavy loads and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Security Clearance: Ability to pass security clearance to enter refineries and chemical plants.
