Job Details
Are you a skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse seeking an exciting opportunity? If you have at least one year of OR RN experience and a valid Ohio RN license or compact license, we invite you to consider joining our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and assisting with surgical procedures in the operating room.
2. Providing patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions.
3. Monitoring and maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room.
4. Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
5. Administering medications and anesthesia under the guidance of the anesthesia provider.
6. Assessing and documenting patient conditions and reactions throughout the surgical process.
7. Assisting in the development of patient care plans and post-operative care.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Valid Ohio RN license or compact license.
2. Minimum of one year of Operating Room Registered Nurse experience.
3. BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
7. Willingness to participate in on-call duties and reside within a reasonable distance from the facility.
Shift Options:
We offer flexibility in shift scheduling, including both 8-hour and 10-hour shifts, depending on your preference.
