About the Position
This Orthopedic Therapist role offers an excellent opportunity for a licensed physical therapist to provide top-notch treatment plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. With a focus on musculoskeletal interventions, our therapists excel at assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, devising effective treatment strategies, and ensuring optimal patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations, daily assessments, and reassessments/progress reports to inform treatment decisions
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
- Select and administer relevant tests and measures to synthesize evaluation results and formulate diagnoses, goals, and plans of care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and support systems to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate smooth transitions
- Initiate and complete discharge plans, providing education/training to patients and their support networks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed CEU requirements in the state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software is desired
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong clinical decision-making abilities
