Senior Technology Auditor

This role is a subject matter expert in conducting technology audits, identifying process and control gaps, and ensuring compliance with policies and standard practices. The Senior Tech Auditor will support and exercise considerable judgment to make decisions in the technology audit function by performing detailed audit work and providing recommendations for process improvements.

  • Exercise considerable judgement to make decisions in conducting technology audits and special projects as per the annual audit plan.
  • Identify and document process and control gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT, E-Commerce, Strategy, Finance, and Operational teams to gather audit evidence.
  • Assist in the supervision and development of audit staff.
  • Ensure audit work is documented and reported in accordance with professional standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidance.
  • Support the technology audit co-source partners as required.
  • Foster positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including team members, external auditors, and regulators.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technology auditor to join our team. To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3 years of experience in a "Big 4" type technology audit firm, or 4 years of experience in corporate IT internal audit, with a focus on technology-related initiatives or related area.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, finance, accounting, or a related discipline, or two years of additional relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications

We also prefer candidates who have:

  • CISA certification or plans to pursue this certification.
  • Understanding of current and emerging risks and ability to manage audit assignments.
  • Technical proficiency in common operating systems, database management systems, and enterprise applications.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $142,600 per year, based on location, relevant experience/level, and skillset. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation and competitive benefits.

  • Pay will be based on multiple factors, including location, relevant experience/level, and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees.
