We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatrician to join our faculty as a Primary Care Physician. This is an academic position that involves providing clinical care to patients, teaching medical students and residents, and participating in research and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to patients with a focus on underserved and community health
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the outpatient setting
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives related to patient-centered medical home and community health
- Attend departmental faculty meetings and division meetings via electronic systems
- Participate in primary care call pool, hospital rounding, and newborn schedule
- MD or equivalent degree
- Successful completion of an approved residency program
- Board eligible in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois
