Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in our subacute rehab setting. Under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will assist in developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in providing therapy to patients, participating in the preparation and execution of patient care plans.
  • Provide a treatment program as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Occupational Therapist, assessing the effectiveness of treatment and modifying treatment methods as needed.
  • Document patient care in compliance with department standards, medical-legal, regulatory, and reimbursement procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement and program development.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited therapy assistant program.
  • Current CRT-Occupational Therapy Assistant certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
