Residential Foreman Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Foreman to join our team at Timberline Contracting Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of residential construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise construction crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Develop and implement construction schedules and budgets to meet project goals.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction management and carpentry.
  • Proven experience with full house builds from inception to completion.
  • Strong communication and management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in bid requests and estimating.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads of up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
