Qualifications for Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):
  • Must meet the qualifications set by ASHA or another recognized professional organization
  • Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the state of employment
  • Must fulfill the educational and experience requirements for a Certification of Clinical Competence in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; or must meet the educational criteria for certification and be in the process of obtaining the necessary supervised experience.
  • Willingness to work in both home and clinic-based environments is essential
  • Must possess a valid, unexpired Driver's License and automotive insurance
  • Experience in pediatric rehabilitative services is preferred
