Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a School Psychologist with Soliant, you will work with a diverse student population across multiple schools within the district, providing psychological assessments, counseling, and support services to promote students' emotional and academic development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Psychological Assessments: Develop and implement comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Develop and Implement IEPs and BIPs: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that support students' academic and behavioral growth.
  • Provide Counseling and Support Services: Offer counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties, promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being.
  • Collaborate with School Staff: Work effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic and personal growth.
  • Participate in MTSS and RTI Processes: Contribute to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes to ensure students receive targeted support and interventions.
  • Attend and Contribute to ARD Meetings: Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and other relevant school meetings to ensure students receive comprehensive support and services.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to assessments and services provided, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Develop and Deliver Professional Development Workshops: Develop and deliver professional development workshops for school staff on psychological and behavioral issues, promoting their knowledge and skills in supporting students' needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Certifications: Licensed School Psychologist in Texas; Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting preferred; strong skills in psychological assessment, report writing, and student counseling; ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and collaborate with educational staff.
