Master Machinist Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Master Machinist to join our team at J Peace Recruiting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced machinist to work on manual lathes and Bridgeport machines.

• Work in a fast-paced machine shop environment with low volume, high mix, quick completion projects
• Operate manual lathes and milling machines with precision
• Read blueprints and drawings to machine parts according to customer specifications
• Use measuring tools to check tolerances regularly

• Proven experience reading blueprints and drawings
• Proficiency in the use of measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods during an 8-hour shift
• Frequent attention to detail required
• Strong communication skills for professional interactions
• Demonstrated work history verifiable through professional references
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

A competitive salary is offered, estimated around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Our benefits package includes BCBS health insurance, dental insurance, vision plan, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and LTD.

The working hours are from 6:25 AM to 2:55 PM, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays. The physical demands of the job require standing and walking over an extended period. We maintain a clean and safe work environment.
