Acquisition Management Role

As a Senior Acquisition Specialist at Vetegrity, you will play a critical role in supporting the missions of the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. Your primary responsibilities will include writing requirements documents, supporting Government Program Managers, and coordinating pre-acquisition meetings. You will also draft Competition in Contracting Act (CICA) justifications, conduct market research and surveys, and analyze and document results. Additionally, you will assist in developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write requirements documents, including Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, Technical Task Orders, Labor Categories, and Performance Work Standards
  • Support Government Program Managers in identifying and collecting Minimum Acquisition Requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule pre-acquisition meetings
  • Draft CICA justifications, conduct market research and surveys, and analyze and document results
  • Assist in developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management
  • Write Award Fee Plans documenting the Government's strategies to incentivize performance
  • Set acquisition strategies by recommending strategies that take into account the specific set of requirements, any schedule considerations, and the relevant acquisition policies
  • Assist in providing oversight and compliance review of acquisition documentation at all levels of preparation
  • Advise in the interpretation and tailoring of DOD/NSA acquisition regulations and memorandums to ensure affordable, supportable, and effective systems are delivered to the customer
  • Assist in developing Major System Acquisition program documentation and prepares for milestone decisions


Requirements:
  • TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or other relevant technical discipline from an accredited College or University is required
  • Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in DoD/IC acquisition management, contracting, or contract management is required
  • Minimum three years' experience writing pre-solicitation documents in compliance with NSA/CSS Policy 8-2, including annexes, or another DoD/IC Agency's similarly guiding acquisition policy
  • In lieu of a degree, DAWIA Level II in any focus area and an additional three (3) years of directly related experience may be substituted
  • In lieu of certification, minimum three additional years of directly related experience for a total of eighteen (18) years may be substituted
  • Experience in DoD/IC source selection desired
