Join Johnson Controls as a Quality Assurance Specialist and take on the challenge of ensuring the highest standards of quality in life safety product lines. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, testing, and servicing of life safety equipment, as well as installing and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules. You will work with low voltage wiring and associated devices, and learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices. Your attention to detail and ability to follow a structured inspection schedule will be essential in this role. If you have 3-5 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems and are able to obtain and retain any required licenses, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and testing of life safety equipment
Install and maintain preventative maintenance schedules
Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices
Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding
Follow a structured inspection schedule
Requirements:
3-5 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems
Ability to obtain and retain any required licenses
NICET Level 2 certification in water based systems
Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends
Willingness to travel out of town, including overnight lodging
