Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver shipboard projects within quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Apply technical expertise in power generation, transmission, and auxiliary machinery systems to ensure project specifications are met.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment by providing mentorship and support to team members.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to guarantee high-quality ship systems.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in ship repair or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar role in AIT ship repair.
- Knowledge of shipboard systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations as required.
Security Requirements:
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance to access military facilities, naval shipyards, private shipyards, and Naval installations.
- Due to export control regulations, this role is open to U.S. citizens only.
