We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing accurate diagnostic CT exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify patient identification and physician orders
  • Provide procedural information and education to patients and families
  • Acquire and document patient histories
  • Perform CT and related patient care procedures
  • Operate CT imaging equipment and perform quality control and quality assurance testing
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure patient safety
  • Ensure STAT requests are relayed to radiologists in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Use hospital computer systems to verify orders, view schedules, and send information to PACs
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff, management, and other departments

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
