Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Director to join our team. As a Tax Director, you will be responsible for setting and delivering services that will result in client retention and referrals. You will manage an existing client pool primarily located in the Flathead Valley and have opportunities to work with small business owners in various industries to proactively plan their tax strategies, business and individual income tax compliance, estate planning, entity formation/transition issues, business operations consulting, and implementation of various other approaches to help clients maximize their profits and tax savings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an existing client pool primarily located in the Flathead Valley
  • Proactively plan tax strategies for small business owners in various industries
  • Deliver services that result in client retention and referrals
  • Work with clients to implement various approaches to maximize profits and tax savings
  • Develop and implement business operations consulting services
  • Collaborate with the executive team to meet deadlines and assist as needed
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of public accounting experience
  • Current CPA license
  • Proven success in prior work experience with the ability to self-manage
