Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Westminster Communities of Florida on a PRN basis. This role is vital in providing exceptional care to our residents in an assisted living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine residents' healthcare needs.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications in accordance with physician directives.
  • Monitor vital signs, including blood glucose levels, temperature, and blood pressure.
  • Support residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Ensure compliance with medical orders by supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Qualifications:

Education:
Must possess a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida and hold CPR certification.

Experience:
A minimum of one year in long-term care is preferred. Experience in Med-Surg or Home Health settings is advantageous, as well as working with individuals with disabilities.

Licenses & Certifications:
Required: LPN, CPR Certified
