Job SummaryThe Line Supervisor in Manufacturing Media is responsible for providing support and removing barriers for operations team members. This role involves training, coaching, and directing daily activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality and productivity in media manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Provides daily work direction for operations associates and specialists by training, supporting, and coaching.
- Reviews daily schedule and allocates resources accordingly.
- Utilizes root cause analysis tool to identify the cause of issues or events impacting the process.
- Assists in implementing corrective actions and tracks their effectiveness.
- Supports meeting department objectives and goals.
- Supports employee training and ongoing development.
- Communicates with supervisor and/or fellow associates on related order questions or concerns.
- Accurately documents necessary processes performed per procedural requirements.
- Maintains cleanliness and order, including segregation and proper identification of material.
- Adheres to safety requirements and uses personal protective equipment.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Associate degree in a related field (preferred but not required).
- Minimum of seven years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment or Associate degree with 2 years of experience.
- Experience working with medical product manufacturing and/or GMP manufacturing.
- Demonstrated math, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability and willingness to ensure accuracy, understand detailed instructions, and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency in entering data and retrieving SOP documents.
