PARS Therapy is a reputable home health organization dedicated to delivering exceptional care and personalized support to our patients. We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Kingwood, TX.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our patients in their homes. As a key member of our therapy team, you will work collaboratively with licensed Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that promote patient independence and overall well-being.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess Patient Needs: Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Provide PT Assigned Services: Deliver assigned services to patients in the home setting, adhering to Physician plans of care and under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
  • Tailor Treatments: Offer cost-effective treatments that improve clients' mobility and motion, reducing the need for medications and surgery when possible.
  • Develop Care Plans: Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs, promoting healthy lifestyles and overall well-being.
  • Miscellaneous Duties: Perform various job-related tasks as assigned by Supervisor, ensuring seamless operation of our therapy team.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Possess PTA Certification for the state of TX and current CPR Certification.
  • Professional Insurance: Maintain Professional Liability Insurance.
  • Home Health or Rehab Experience: Preference given to candidates with Home Health or Rehab experience.
  • Collaboration Skills: Demonstrate ability to work effectively with other health professionals in a multi-disciplinary collaboration for patient care.
  • Work Experience: Proven work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, showcasing a friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments.
