Job Summary:
Middlesex Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Resource Department/Float Pool. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess health needs of patients and provide nursing care in a safe and caring manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current and unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut or the ability to obtain
- Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and to perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of acute care nursing experience
- Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) preferred, but not required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) and actively enrolled in a BSN program
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred, but not required
- Epic experience
