Job Title: Pediatric Neurologist

USA Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Neurologist to join our team. As a leading healthcare provider in the Gulf Coast region, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Neurologist with expertise in pediatric epilepsy management and epilepsy surgery evaluations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with intractable epilepsy
  • Perform EEG and neurodiagnostic studies for pediatric patients with intractable epilepsy
  • Perform surgical evaluations for pediatric patients with intractable epilepsy
  • Perform general neurological evaluations and hospital call under direction of the chair
  • Perform research and teaching
Qualifications
  • MD or DO with license/eligibility for license in Alabama
  • Board certification/eligibility in Neurology per the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Board certification/eligible in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology per the American Board
  • Successful completion of a Neurology Residency Program accredited by ACGME
  • Fellowship training in epilepsy and/or clinical neurophysiology with extensive experience in pediatric epilepsy management and epilepsy surgery evaluations
