Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Painter to join our team at Phoenix Resource Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality paint finishes on our equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Painting Operations

  • Apply paint to equipment using airless paint systems, pressure pots, spray guns, rollers, and brushes.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and blasting.
  • Mask areas that will not be painted using masking tape, paper, and plastic lining.

Quality Control

  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure paint finishes meet our standards.
  • Identify and address any defects or issues with paint finishes.

Project Management

  • Study and comprehend project specifications to ensure accurate paint application.
  • Keep a binder with project specifications for quick reference.
  • Stay up-to-date with product data sheets and manufacturer safety data sheets.

Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform routine maintenance on paint equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Keep track of paint usage and report to the office daily.
  • Dispose of used paint and solvents properly.

Qualifications

  • Experience with HVLP, airless, and gravity gun painting systems.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and solvents for various paint types.
  • Ability to disassemble and assemble paint equipment.
  • Basic maintenance skills for paint equipment.
  • Dependable transportation and availability for overtime hours.
