You will be responsible for verifying all packaging instructions are followed to the letter, ensuring our products meet the high standards MeriCal is known for. You will also be responsible for managing staging and clearing production lines, ensuring everything is ready to go for the next job. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring all cleaning logs and production paperwork are completed and signed off properly. You will also be responsible for mentoring and motivating your team, assigning tasks, and setting daily goals to ensure everyone is aligned and working together toward success. You will also be responsible for working with the Maintenance Department to handle any equipment changes or issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You will be instrumental in building a solid team, showing up every day with a positive attitude and inspiring others to do the same. Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify all packaging instructions are followed to the letter.
  • Ensure our products meet the high standards MeriCal is known for.
  • Manage staging and clearing production lines.
  • Ensure all cleaning logs and production paperwork are completed and signed off properly.
  • Mentor and motivate your team.
  • Work with the Maintenance Department to handle any equipment changes or issues.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years as a production line lead, ideally in an FDA-regulated packaging environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Able to stand for long periods (8-12 hours) and lift over 50 lbs when needed.
