Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Burlington, Iowa.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist with Host Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in respiratory therapy or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Iowa.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
