Position Overview:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of all plant machinery through mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic repairs, as well as preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues effectively.
  • Utilize assembly drawings, P&ID's, and manuals to calibrate equipment for optimal operation, applying electrical (VFD's, SCR's, motor starters) and logic (PLC, SLC) principles to resolve equipment challenges.
  • Employ basic plumbing, metalworking, and general facility maintenance skills as necessary.
  • Operate various devices such as gauges, RTD's, pressure transmitters, I/P's, and vortex flow meters.
  • Provide training to new associates and team members on essential maintenance skills.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with GMP and safety protocols.
  • Operate Rich's SCADA system and complete relevant documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
  • Assist and train operational associates in basic equipment troubleshooting and support production as required.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in food processing, with a focus on troubleshooting and repairing production equipment with advanced control systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train fellow associates in maintenance operations.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a self-directed team.
  • Proficiency in Rich's SCADA system.
  • General mechanical knowledge along with electrical and logic principles.
  • Basic plumbing, metalworking, and facility maintenance knowledge.
  • Awareness of and adherence to associate safety guidelines.
  • Understanding of GMP and food safety standards.
  • Knowledge of proper machine operation and adjustment procedures.
  • Ability to contribute to production improvement initiatives and participate in temporary teams as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
