Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Butcher to join our team at Reid Super Save Market. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality meats and exceptional customer service to our customers.

• Cutting and Preparing Meats: Cut, grind, and prepare meats for sale, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
• Meat Department Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools and equipment, and ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive.
• Product Management: Weigh, package, price, and display products, ensuring accurate inventory and pricing.
• Quality Control: Perform quality inspections on meats and other products, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation controls.
• Customer Service: Greet and speak to customers, providing advice, answering questions, and accepting orders or payments.
• Order Fulfillment: Coordinate deliveries or order pickups, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.

• Education and Experience: Education or experience in food preparation or meat cutting, with a strong understanding of meat quality, cuts, and preparation.
• Physical Demands: Ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments.
• Additional Training: Additional training may be required to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation controls.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication, task management, and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
