Youth Ministry Director

Compassion Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to serve as a Youth Director. This role is responsible for creating a midweek experience for students 6th-12th grade, delivering the message, leading ministry leaders and volunteers, pastoring and caring for students, and participating in community outreach and school involvement.

• Provide oversight of junior and senior high students and student staff, ensuring a balanced program of spiritual, physical, and social growth.
• Be acquainted with the personal lives of the young people, either directly or through the student staff, and be aware of current student development and culture.
• Foster open communication with parents/guardians primarily through student staff or other means of communication.
• Assure every youth activity focuses entirely on building mature youth of the church.
• Assure the church students are taught and charged with their responsibility to outreach.
• Assure training and regular involvement of students in church ministry.
• Assure proper care of facilities used by student programs.
