Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVOR

Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team in Goodyear, Arizona.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for circulating in the operating room and assisting physicians with advanced tasks or equipment during surgical procedures. This includes cardiopulmonary bypass/heart-lung machine use, trans-esophageal echocardiogram studies, cardiac output assistive devices, and vascular access and interventions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for surgical procedures by completing patient assessments and reviewing patient charts, diagnostics, and labs.
  • Formulate and initiate plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plans of care.
  • Provide care based on physician orders and in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Assist with OR turnover between cases and participate in stocking, replenishing supplies, and cleaning operating rooms.
  • Participate in or lead the training and orientation of surgical staff and students, as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • One year of operating room experience in the acute care setting.
  • Preferred experience: 1 year in CVOR setting.
