Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team at Prisma Health, specializing in Pediatrics and ADHD. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting psychological assessments, and developing treatment plans to support the well-being of children, adolescents, and adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote positive outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including testing and evaluation, to inform treatment plans.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in training and education programs, sharing expertise with students, residents, and colleagues to advance the field of psychology.
- Collaborate with treating psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to the development of psychological services within the Department of Psychiatry, including community outreach and education initiatives.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution.
- At least one year of post-doctoral experience in a medical setting, with a focus on Pediatrics and ADHD.
Certifications/Registrations/Licenses
South Carolina License to Practice Clinical Psychology.
Work Environment
This is a part-time position, working in a dynamic healthcare environment that values teamwork and collaboration.
