We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Childcare Professional to join our team in a full-time, day shift position. As a Childcare Professional, you will play a vital role in the care and development of children aged 0-12 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Teacher in the care and development of children, ensuring their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs are met.
- Implement programs designed around the developmental needs of children, promoting a safe and engaging environment.
- Supervise children and provide for their physical safety at all times, identifying and correcting potential risk situations and hazards.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must earn State Mandatory hours of continuing education in Early Childhood Education per year.
- Must meet all mandatory education and training requirements within specified timeframes as required by organizational/regulatory standards.
- Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
- One to two years previous work experience with children and/or schooling in Early Childhood Education is highly desirable.
