About the Job: Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Waterloo, Iowa. This role requires assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures, preparing equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining sterile conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with catheterization of the heart and other interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal functioning
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any concerns to the healthcare team
- Maintain sterile conditions during procedures to prevent infection
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in interventional radiology
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license
