About the Role

This part-time Social Skills Facilitator position at Alpine Learning Group involves working with children and adolescents to facilitate social skills programs after school hours.

Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitate behavioral strategies for each learner, tailored to their individual needs.
  • Implement motivation systems for learners and groups.
  • Record data on provided sheets and graph data as assigned.
  • Provide brief summaries of learner performance for caregivers at session end.
  • Assist in identifying goals and targets for learners.
  • Verify scheduled appointments in a timely manner.
Environment
  • Manage teaching materials specific to assigned groups.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
General Expectations
  • Demonstrate professional behavior and punctuality.
  • Participate in staff meetings and trainings related to social skills groups.
  • Respond to emergencies according to Alpine Learning Group's policies.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications and Certifications
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
  • Achievement of RBT/Registered Behavior Technician certificate is an asset.
Working Conditions and Schedule

This role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items. It also demands fine finger dexterity and ability to assist during crisis intervention. The work schedule includes 3-12 hours per week from Monday to Friday, between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Compensation and Benefits
