DevSecOps Engineer Opportunity

At Information Technology Engineering LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented DevSecOps Engineer with a Top Secret Clearance to design, develop, and integrate total system life cycle solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with standard system administration tasks, Red Hat/Linux administration, and system provisioning automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical planning, design, development, and integration for total system life cycle.
  • Analyze system products at all levels, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Design and develop software, ensuring logical conversion of customer/product requirements into total system solutions.
  • Apply standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
  • Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and compile documentation of program development.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with standard system administration tasks.
  • Red Hat/Linux administration experience.
  • Experience with writing and updating documentation.
  • System Administrators must comply with DOD 8570, and CompTIA Security+ certification is required within 3 years of assignment.
  • Experience with virtualized operating system concepts and administration.
  • Experience with system provisioning automation tools (CHEF, Puppet, Ansible).
  • Experience with basic scripting/coding tasks.
  • Experience with storage solutions (NAS, etc.).
  • Information Assurance (IA) hardening and compliance, including STIG and DSS compliance.
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to apply extensive technical knowledge to complex technical problems.
