Job Description

At Medtronic, we're committed to delivering innovative solutions that improve human welfare. As an Embedded Software Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing low-level embedded software that interfaces with electronics and other peripheral devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop low-level embedded software for medical devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other software components
  • Participate in technical discussions and problem-solving for software projects
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development
  • Proficiency in C, familiarity with C++ and Assembly
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Experience in medical software development process such as IEC 62304
