Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health are actively seeking qualified candidates to enhance our esteemed Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible General Gastroenterologist
Jefferson is a prominent tertiary care academic medical institution, part of the expansive Jefferson Health System, which encompasses 18 hospitals. Our Gastroenterology department is recognized nationally, ranked 25th by U.S. News and World Report. The division is progressive and well-published, consisting of 40 physicians, many of whom hold national acclaim, along with 8 Advanced Practice Providers. The Division is set to transition into a cutting-edge ambulatory facility, occupying two floors dedicated to clinical services and a new outpatient Endoscopy Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient-centered evaluations, management, and care
- Demonstrate proficiency in performing and instructing advanced procedures
- Collaborate effectively within a team, including shared patient care
- Maintain open communication with all members of the academic and healthcare teams
