We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Nurse Manager or Director in the overall operations of our assigned unit.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Nurse Manager or Director in the management of the unit, including staff supervision, patient care, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain relationships that are respectful to all.
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Specific experience as delineated by the unit of employment
- Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
- EKG competency
- Bachelor's degree of Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Professional Certification
