Clinical Nurse III: Elective Orthopedics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Elective Orthopedics team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a compassionate and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures as required.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs, and respond to care rendered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel, and maintain standards of professional nursing.
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
